Azziad Nasenya Named Brand Ambassador for BIC Miss Soleil Women’s Shavers.
In its Second Year, the ‘I Choose Smooth’ Campaign Continues to Empower Young Females in Kenya
[Nairobi, Kenya – 1st February, 2022 -] BIC East Africa has named Kenyan influencer Azziad Nasenya as brand ambassador for BIC’s women’s shaver, BIC Miss Soleil. The announcement was made at a press conference held recently at the BIC headquarters in Kasarani. The press conference saw the attendance of Azziad Nasenya, media and influencers, as well as BIC leadership and team members.
The announcement stems from BIC’s commitment to empower women, and is part of the ‘I Choose Smooth, I Choose Miss Soleil’ campaign which was launched in Kenya in 2021. I Choose Smooth, I Choose Miss Soleil’ aimed to empower, motivate, and inspire young females to embrace their confidence and be the best version of themselves. Last year’s campaign featured four influential women representing and targeting different age groups, these included Wahu Kagwi, Avril Nyambura, Kamene Goro, and Azziad Nasenya (now brand ambassador).

Consumers and customers will be able to see the partnership between BIC and Azziad as it comes to life in key retail stores including Carrefour and Naivas. Azziad’s 5 ft 6 inch life-size corex stand will be showcased at the stores, as females continue to make informed decisions around self-care products that they purchase.
The ‘I Choose Smooth, I Choose Miss Soleil’ campaign was launched in 2021 in Kenya as part of the launch of BIC Miss Soleil in the country. The campaign, also considered a confidence movement, aimed to empower young females to embrace their confidence. BIC partnered with four influential women who embodied the values of confidence, inspiration, motivation, and fun including Wahu Kagwi, Avril, Kamene Goro and Azziad Nasenya. The selected females leveraged their social media platforms to tell their stories and share insights on what makes them confident, shedding light on experiences, challenges and opportunities that make them who they are. The women also shared inspirational and motivational stories as well as beauty tips and recommendations that serve the young Kenyan female.

Azziad Nasenya is a 21-year-old Kenyan actress, content creator, and radio presenter. She is a young, vivacious, fun-filled, sassy go-getter who diligently works to achieve her dreams.
